Bio: 
A lot of ponies often mistaken Spirit as Rainbow Dash's daughter. This is because of how they both carry each other, their personalities being similar, and because of their fur both being blue. 

Spirit has always been determined pony.She's also a very charming and cheerful pony. She Knows just what to say to make ponies feel better if upset, or she just wants them to be more happy than they already are!
But she is also very stubborn and does what she wants unless it's a very dire situation. She is known for doing very dumb things that can potentially harm her, like drinking alcohol Apple Cider excessively at collage parties. (In equestria, legal age for drinking is 17, because that's when ponies are fully grown.) However, luckily, her best friend, Party Pie, is always making sure she doesn't over drink or do any dumb that she could regret, well also managing the party (whether it's hers or not, because that's Party Pie for you.) She's only done a dumb thing at a party once, but she cannot forget it, and she in turn, thinks that no one else can either (but they pretty much have.) She doesn't like talking about it.

Spirit is a very spunky and sassy pony.
Just like her ability to make other ponies happy, she knows just what to say to shut anypony up. She used this as a foal to shut the mouths of her teachers who were being unfair and discriminating her opinions just because she was a filly. 
Her only downfall to this is that many ponies don't like her because she left a sour taste in their mouths (she doesn't abuse this power of hers because she doesn't see a reason to.)

But she doesn't let this get to her because she has a very stable self image of herself. Unlike many ponies her age, she doesn't see anything she needs to change about her self. As a filly this was a lot more of an ego than her current look on her self.
This is the main reason she doesn't want a relationship any time soon, because most of her previous coltfriends never stayed with her because they didn't like how she acted sometimes. 

Many ponies are surprised at how much she's like rainbow, despite rarely seeing rainbow during her childhood, the few times being when she went to watch her father's air shows and whenever the main six got together. As a child she grew to hate ponies being so touchy and affectionate with her, so she often tries to distance her emotions and thoughts from others ponies, aside from those she knows will understand (being her friends.)
The reason she hates ponies being too close to her is because her mother was a 'swan mom' (helicopter aren't a daily thing in equestria so the term 'swan mom' is the alt term) But Fluttershy only ever meant good intent, trying to keep her children safe and happy.
However, this didn't change Spirit's outlook and the way she acted, and she hasn't changed much at all aside from being slightly more mature (not much though.)
